Sadie Amara Calvano has become popular for her role as Violet Plunkett that she played in the CBS show Mom. Calvano originates from California and first became attracted to gymnastics. Then, she made the decision to follow a career of acting. In 2010 she first appeared on the screen with an episode of the CBS series 'NCIS.' In the crime drama biographical film J Edgar, she made her debut in front of the camera a few months later. She became one of the most talented young actors on the scene throughout the decades. She won an award nomination to the Young Artist Award, Best performance by an Actor in the Younger Years of Actress on a TV Series for her part in the show "NCIS". In 2013 she was nominated to win yet another Young Artist Award for her guest appearance in Disney XD's comedy series, 'Kickin' It'. Calvano had a role in the cast of Mom throughout its first three years and appeared on several occasions in the fourth. The year 2015 was the year she was awarded the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star due to her role in Mom.
